Tier list maker FAQ

What is a tier list?

A tier list is a ranked chart that groups items into levels, from the strongest or most preferred to the weakest or least preferred. Rankings depend on your chosen criteria.

What do S, A, B, C tiers mean?

S usually means exceptional, A excellent, B good, and C average; D and F are lower ranks. The S-above-A convention comes from Japanese grading and game rankings. S is often described as “special” or “super,” but it has no universal expansion. You can rename every tier.

How do I make a tier list with my own images?

Choose images from your device, drag each image into a tier, then select Download PNG. PNG, JPEG, WebP and GIF files up to 20 MB each are supported. GIFs become still images; images are resized locally to at most 512 pixels per side.

Can I download my tier list as an image?

Yes. Download PNG exports your title and ranked rows on a clean background, without editor controls or a watermark. Unranked items are excluded. The image is rendered at a minimum of 2× resolution, or your device pixel ratio if higher.

Is it free / do I need an account?

This is a free tier list maker. No account, subscription or login is required. Create up to 20 tiers and 200 items per board.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are processed and saved with your board in this browser using IndexedDB. They are never uploaded to a server by this tool. Browser storage can be cleared or unavailable in private browsing, so download your finished PNG.
